Three lorry crash blocked A14 in Suffolk for nine hours

A collision involving three lorries blocked one lane of the A14 in Suffolk this morning, Friday November 13, for nine hours

The collision took place in the early hours of the morning but police worked throughout the morning to recover the vehicles.

One lane was closed from Stowmarket, junction 49 to junction 47 near Haughley and there were reports of two miles of queuing traffic.

The road reopened at around lunchtime today.
