THREE people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash on a Suffolk Road left one vehicle in a ditch and the driver trapped inside.
The accident – near the junction of the A134 and A1071 in Newton – happened at around 2.20pm on Wednesday, January 5.
Emergency services were called to the incident and found one of the cars in a ditch beside the road.
One person was trapped in the car, but was freed shortly before 2.50pm, while two others had already been released before firefighters from Sudbury, Long Melford and Colchester arrived at the scene.
All three casualties were assessed by paramedics before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
