Three Hadleigh teenagers arrested after two men injured in assault

Three teenagers have been arrested, after two men were injured in an assault in Hadleigh.

The attack took place in High Street on Sunday, at approximately 12.45am.

A 31-year-old man was struck in the head with a glass bottle, resulting in him being taken to hospital after suffering a deep laceration to his face.

A 42-year-old sustained swelling to his cheek after he was punched in the face during the same incident.

Following the assault, two men, both aged 19, and a 17-year-old boy, who are all from Hadleigh, were arrested in connection to the incident, on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.

One of the 19-year-old men remains in police custody for questioning.

The other 19-year-old man has subsequently been released under investigation, pending further enquiries, while the 17-year-old boy was released on police bail.
