Thieves stole approximately £5,000 worth of electrical goods from a shop in Sudbury, prompting a police appeal to identify those responsible.

The crime occurred on August 31 at about 4.40pm, when a large number of items, including toothbrushes and razors, were placed into a laundry bag and stolen from the Boots store in Market Hill.

A CCTV camera at the shop recorded three men (pictured above), whom Suffolk Police wishes to speak to in connection to the incident, and officers believe there may have also been a woman in their company.

The first man was wearing a black jacket and camouflage baseball cap, the second man had a black t-shirt and white cap, and the third man wore a green shirt and white cap.

Anybody who recognises these men, or who saw any suspicious activity at the store, should contact Bury St Edmunds CID by calling 101, quoting the crime reference 37/50067/18.
