The show must go on

MORE than 80 students and staff from Sudbury Upper School are pulling out all the stops to get their latest production, Little Shop of Horrors, ready for the opening night.

The rock musical is the school’s showpiece production of the year, and it involves students from all year groups in acting, singing and dancing roles.

Leo Cox, head of drama, said: “It is a production I have wanted to do for some time.”

He said the show’s props – specially hired for the production – “will provide a magnificent centrepiece to the story”.

Opening night is Wednesday, February 1, at 7pm and there are two further shows on February 2 and 3.

Tickets are available from the school on 01787 375131. Prices are adults £10, and concessions £5.
