Teenager taken to hospital after collision in Sible Hedingham




A teenager was taken to hospital after a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian on Friday evening (January 17).

The incident happened on Station Road, Sible Hedingham at around 5.20pm.

A volunteer doctor from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service was mobilised to the scene.

The SARS doctor worked alongside paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service to assess and treat a male patient who had suffered hip and knee injuries.

The patient was later taken to the Broomfield Hospital by land ambulance.
