Ladies of the Sudbury Ephemera Archive reprised their 2014 carnival-winning role as Suffragettes on Saturday as publicity for the Quay Theatre’s showing of the recent film Suffragette on March 8.

They ‘stormed’ the Town Hall demanding to see the Mayor who allowed them in to enjoy tea and biscuits with him in the Mayor’s Parlour.

The film is being shown at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5. To book call 01787 374745.
