Sudden death

The sudden death of a man in Sudbury is being treated as unexplained by police.

Ambulance crews were called at 10:20am on Monday to a property in Jameson Place, Sudbury.

A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said paramedics treated a man who was unconscious and not breathing.

“Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man died at scene,” she said.

The death is being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.
