Sudbury schoolgirl's winning Christmas card design brought to life
The winner of the 2018 Sudbury mayoral Christmas card competition saw her design brought to life this week, as the cards were printed ready for delivery to surrounding towns and overseas.
Ten-year-old Gini Ogle, a pupil at St Gregory Primary School, joined school friends and Sudbury mayor Sue Ayres on Tuesday, for a visit to local print and design business Indigo Ross, based at Spectrum House on Woodhall Business Park, on Tuesday.
Gini pressed the button to begin the production of her winning card design, which was chosen from 530 different entries, submitted by children at seven schools in the Sudbury area.
Among those who will be receiving the Christmas card is the High Sheriff of Suffolk, and even The Queen.
Gini also received a tour of the Indigo Ross print studio from the company’s founder and managing director Phil Roper, who presented her with a gift.
