Sudbury man to stage charity comedy night in memory of parents
A man from Sudbury is dedicating an upcoming comedy night in memory of his parents.
The proceeds will be donated to two charities close to his heart.
Tony West and his family received support from Macmillan cancer charity and St Nicholas Hospice Care when his father, Michael, was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer.
“They helped us out tremendously,” said the 28-year-old.
Mr West, of Elm Road, has described the event, which is being staged at The Delphi Social Club, on Saturday, October 27, at 6.30pm as a fitting tribute to his parents who enjoyed watching comedy shows.
“My mum and dad were quite comical characters,” he said.
The event is being hosted with Suffolk Punch Comedy Club.
