Students join rallies across Britain as part of global day of action against climate change

With thousands of students across the globe joining a day of action over climate change, the Suffolk Free Press is keen to speak to any parents whose children took part in the protests.

Demonstrations are taking place in major cities around Britain, as part of a worldwide campaign calling for action to be taken to address the negative consequences of global warming.

Thomas Gainsborough School in Great Cornard has confirmed that it is aware of two students who have been taken by their parents to participate in the rally against climate change in London.
