Stour Valley students take to the stage
More than 100 Stour Valley Community School students from all year groups put on their dancing shoes to perform in a sold-out show.
The school’s first dance show proved to be a hit, with performances accompanied by a wide variety of music, from a Grease-inspired jive to soulful Sam Smith.
“I thought it was terrific,” said Derek Blake, a governor at the school. “It was a very slick show that zinged along with some great accompanying music and outstanding performances from the students.”
The show, which is going to become a yearly event, was organised by Emma Lee, Claire Cutter and Oliver Bell.
