A HADLEIGH company raised £6,000 in memory of a long-serving colleague.
Alain Harris, who had worked for Walter Wright solicitors for 24 years, died in June last year following heart surgery.
Staff at the firm decided to raise money for the British Heart Foundation with a static bike ride.
The team of employees, clients and friends cycled 418 miles, the distance from his hometown in Felixstowe to his Scottish roots, over five days in April.
Anita Postle, of Walter Wright, said: “The total shows how much Alain was loved and thought of.
He was a lovely man and is greatly missed.”
