Some schools partially closed due to strike

A number of school are closed or partially closed today due to industrial action being taken by teachers.

The National Union of Teachers (NUT) teachers are demonstrating against budget cuts and pay and conditions.

Primary schools partially open today are Elmsett, Pot Kiln, Wells Hall and Boxford.

Hadleigh High School is also partially open.

A spokesman for Suffolk County Council said it was up to schools whether or not they informed the local education authority of their closure or partial closure
