A CHARITY which looks after people with terminal and life-shortening illnesses is encouraging people to take part in its annual Wills Week event next month.
Solicitors in Sudbury and Clare are backing the scheme, which last year raised £27,000 for St Nicholas Hospice Care and sees solicitors drawing up and revising wills in return for a donation.
In total, 13 firms are taking part across Suffolk, including Clare’s Wayman and Long and Sudbury solicitors Tomlinson and Dickinson, from June 1 to 8.
Hospice legacy officer Margaret Lee said: “We are delighted so many solicitors are giving their time for free to help the hospice.
“Getting a will drafted protects your family and gives everyone peace of mind, while your donation will ensure the hospice can continue to offer its vital services to those who need our help.”
