Shotguns stolen in Bures burglary

A cabinet containing four shotguns was stolen from a property in Bures yesterday.

Between 8.05am and 5.45pm yesterday, (November 2), the offender forced their way into the back of the property and conducted a search, before stealing jewellery items and the cabinet containing two Churchill 12 bore shotguns, one Beretta and one Lincoln 20 bore.

Police are asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious vehicles or activity in the area – particularly in the Dead Lane vicinity - yesterday to come forward.

Detectives would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered any similar items for sale since or anyone with information about the burglars.
