Secret Garden in Sudbury ranked among Suffolk's top eateries in Harden's Best UK Restaurants 2020




Eight restaurants in and around the Sudbury area have been recognised among the UK's top eateries, following an annual survey of thousands of businesses across the county.

In Harden's Best UK Restaurants list for 2020, The Secret Garden, which is located at Buzzards Hall in Friars Street, Sudbury, was ranked as one of the best restaurants in Suffolk.

Two establishments in Lavenham also received top billing for the county - The Great House Hotel in Market Place, and the Lavenham Greyhound in High Street.

In addition, there was recognition The Bildeston Crown, Hintlesham Hall, The George in The Green, Cavendish and The Crown in Park Street, Stoke-by-Nayland.

Just over the border, Shillingfords, based at The Foragers Retreat in Pebmarsh, was one of the top rated restaurants in Essex.

The list is compiled using the findings of a total of 50,000 reports, from a survey of 7,500 diners.
