Students at a school in Great Cornard have created a wall of remembrance to honour those killed in combat in the centenary year marking the start of the First World War.
Members of Sudbury’s Royal British Legion branch visited the display on Thursday after the two-week project was completed.
Students across the school contributed to the wall by researching those from the local area who died in conflicts, honouring them with a poppy on the wall.
“What we wanted to do is really go back to what remembrance is about,” explained headteacher Wayne Lloyd.
“It is my generation’s role to pass it on.”
