School holds annual Poppy Appeal concert

Ormiston Sudbury Academy is to hold its annual holding a Festival of Remembrance event.

On Tuesday from 7pm, song, dance and drama students from the school will arrange a series of sketches for the first half of the evening.

After a short break, where refreshments will be available, a Drumhead Service of Remembrance will be conducted by Rev. Simon Gill.

Tickets cost £5 and are available from Sudbury Tourist Information in Sudbury Library, Ormiston Academy or from Stuart Hume on 01787 374277.

Tickets will also be available on the door.

All the proceeds from the evening go to the national Poppy Appeal.
