Sudbury mayor Jack Owen was at Hillside Special School in Sudbury on Monday afternoon to open a special sensory garden for the children.
The project has been funded by the Wooden Spoon Society. The rugby charity uses local rugby clubs including Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury, to raise money and finance projects such as the garden.
Sue Upson, headteacher at the school, said: “We are delighted with the sensory garden. We have developed a place where children can use their senses.”
