Essential advice on how to stay safe in a variety of activities has been passed onto students at a school in Clare.
Children in Year 7 at Stour Valley Community School spent the day learning about how to stay safe on the road, online and in the home during Safety Day recently.
Pupils were given a demonstration in how quickly a chip pan fire can become out of control, joined police for a speed enforcement operation and discussed the dangers of electricity.
“Safety Day has become a popular event in the Stour Valley calendar,” said Ruth Plumb, head of Year 7.
“Our thanks got to all the local agencies who offer their time for the day.”
