A foodbank in Halstead has seen a rise in the number of people relying on its services.

The foodbank in St Andrew’s Church, in Parsonage Street, opens on Mondays.

Volunteers say that last year, more than 500 individuals in the area required their assistance, 200 of these being children, with this figure rising.
