The restoration of Little Waldingfield’s village sign has been completed after it was destroyed in July when a car veered off the road.
The sign, which welcomes drivers into the village, has been returned to its pride of place.
It was demolished in the crash in which the driver and passenger were unhurt.
Andy Sheppard, chairman of Little Waldingfield Parish Council, said residents were delighted to have the sign back where it belonged.
“Without the sign, a lot of people felt it was just an empty space,” he said. “You would drive into the village and you knew there was something missing.
“It just completes the village.”
