Residents in Cavendish turned out in force for the village’s community fete on Saturday.
Organised by the Cavendish Community Council, the event featured a horticultural show with a multitude of classes as well as musical entertainment.
All manner of produce from local outlets, from cakes to vegetables to flowers, were on display for villagers to admire.
Alongside the horticultural elements, there was live music from the Long Melford Silver Band and dancing from the Morris Men of Little Egypt.
Mike Ward, community council chairman, said: “A number of furry friends were also present, with beautifully groomed pooches in the dog show to crowd favourites the donkeys.
Judy Kemp, who has been active within the village for many years, opened the fete, which was sponsored by The George.
