Waste centres in Sudbury and Hadleigh are to be provided with life-saving equipment to treat cardiac arrest victims.

The recycling centres in Sandy Lane and Crockatt Way will receive defibrillators and specialist training.

It is hoped the equipment will reduce the chances of someone dying from cardiac arrest.

Without one, survival rates decrease by 23 per cent every minute.

All 11 waste centres across Suffolk will get the equipment.
