Organisers have hailed a record year for the LeeStock music festival with high hopes of a bumper donation to the Willow Foundation.
The music festival, held in memory of Lee Dunford, saw thousands of visitors at Melford Hall on Saturday and Sunday, with the headline act - indie pop stars Scouting for Girls.
Organiser Pete Keogh said the whole festival was “fantastic”.
“It was a massive success we had a record number come through,” he said.
Too early for exact figures, Mr Keogh said he expected to be able to give a “bumper donation” to the Willow Foundation which supported Mr Dunford before his death in 2006.
Though the sunny weather attracted some extra visitors, Mr Keogh said pre-sale figures were very strong thanks to the festival’s growing reputation.
