Recognition for firm with design flair
Sudbury kitchen, bathroom and bedroom specialist KSL has won two national awards for design.
The company’s designers Katy Pearson and Rebecca Reynolds were recognised for their creative skills at design awards run by the national trade association, KBSA, for the interiors industry.
Rebecca won the Bathroom Concept Designer of the Year accolade, while Katy was runner up for the Bathroom Designer of the Year. It’s the second time they have been winners at the event.
Richard Hibbert, managing director of KSL which is based in Church Field Road, said: “It’s an enormous achievement for Katy, Rebecca and the company.
“We place great importance on design at KSL so it is great to see our designers achieve recognition for their design excellence by our industry peers.
“KSL is a small independent business, so to win such a prestigious national award is something we can all be proud of.”
Judges commented that Rebecca’s winning entry was a “very stunning and creative design using materials to enhance and create various stations, but all working in harmony with each other - a superb concept”.
Rebecca commented: “The award is really tricky to win. We are given a brief to work to and that’s it. It comes down to your own individual design concept.”
