‘Range Rover driver rammed into overtaking vehicle’

Police are appealing for information following a suspected road rage incident where it is alleged a Range Rover was rammed into another vehicle.

It happened at around 12.40am on Sunday, November 15, in Birchwood Road, Dedham.

A red Volkswagen Golf was driving along the road when it overtook a dark green Range Rover, which was being driven slowly.

It is claimed the Range Rover then rammed the Golf multiple times, causing the driver to fear for his life, nearly ending up driving into a field.

The VW Golf was scraped and dented. The driver was not injured but was left shaken up after the incident.

The Range Rover drove off.

Anybody who may have witnessed the incident or has any information about what happened is asked to contact Pc Ryan Weavers at Colchester police station on Essex Police 101.
