St Nicholas Hospice Care is appealing for women to strike a pose and help it launch its biggest annual fundraising event.

The official launch of Girls Night Out 2017 is only a few weeks away and the charity is calling on past walkers to join them for a photoshoot to launch the event.

Jenny Smith, hospice events and challenges fundraiser, said: “Every year the support we have from our walkers is amazing and I hope as many of them as possible will be able to join us and help launch the event which will be our ninth Girls Night Out.”

Those who can take part in the photoshoot should meet on Monday, March 20 at 11am at the Abbeygate in Bury St Edmunds and are asked to wear their pink Girls Night Out T-shirts and bunny ears if they can.

Registration for Girls Night Out 2017 opens on 1 April, and this year’s walk, which again has 11.2 and six-mile routes around Bury St Edmunds, is on Saturday, September 9.
