Pupils in full voice for Clare school’s music festival
The children were singing loud and proud on Monday as Clare Community Primary School held its second music festival.
Watched on by a captive audience of teachers and parents pupils from the Clare school in Erbury Place were joined by there Key Stage 1 counterparts from Glemsford, Moulton and Great Yeldham Primary Schools at Clare Baptist Church.
Youngsters dressed up for the occasion and performed songs from Jonah and the Splendiferous Whale.
“It was lovely,” said music teacher Luba Brown.
“It was only the second time we have done this, after last year, and we hope to maintain it as an annual event.”
Many of the children played instruments during the festival, which was split into morning and afternoon sessions.
“The children were really good, they were only little, but were all very enthusiastic and sang whole-heartedly throughout,” said Miss Brown.
