Children at Great Waldingfield Primary School joined in cultural celebrations when they took part in this year’s European Languages Day.
Pupils kicked off their day in style with a traditional French breakfast.
Teacher Catherine Daley said: “They drank hot chocolate from French breakfast bowls and enjoyed eating a pain au chocolat. Later on, they took up the challenge to say ‘hello’ in as many different European languages as possible.”
The event, which was started by the European Council in 2001, is held on September 26 each year.
