HEADS should roll over Sudbury’s new £60,000 crossing in King Street, according to a resident.
Suffolk County Council contractors finished the project, which was originally budgeted at £40,000, last week after weeks of disruption and road closures.
But John Fosker, of Hillside Road, said he could not believe the end result had taken so long and cost so much money.
“It is an utter waste of money – I wouldn’t have spent £600 on it, let alone £60,000,” he said.
