A fundraising festival showcasing the benefits of healthy living was staged in Clare last weekend.

The event, which was in aid of a community project to tackle poverty, took place in the village hall on Sunday.

A range of healthy dishes were on offer at superfood café, while healthcare professionals provided handy tips on staying fit.

The event kicked off with a yoga class, followed by an informative talk on natural methods to boost the immune system

A raffle raised £117.94 for charity Reach, which supports people in Haverhill.

Event organiser Giles Bryant said: “The festival was a great success with young and old having an opportunity to learn for free about healthy living in a friendly, inclusive environment.”
