Pick up something for nothing in Sudbury

A swap shop event – where people can get household items for free – is being held in St John’s Methodist Church in Sudbury on April 13.

This is the fifth swap shop organised by Transition Sudbury & District, and it takes place between 10am and 12.30pm.

The aim is to reduce landfill and get everyone thinking about recycling and reusing.

Residents can bring along unwanted items, or just pop along to the York Road church and look around and take whatever treasures catch their eye for free.

Organisers say they are not able to accept any electrical items or anything toxic, hazardous or broken.
