PHOTOGRAPHER Paul Coghlin from Great Waldingfield is celebrating after his artistic flair won him a prestigious award for the second time.
Paul’s career took off after he was named photographer of the year by the British Institute of Professional Photography in 2010.
He was stunned to achieve the honour in his first year as a professional cameraman – although his love of photography began in his teens. Numerous other prizes followed.
This year his seascape series Equilibrium not only won the gold award in the visual arts category at the institute’s annual awards ceremony, he was once again given the top prize.
“It was quite a day,” said Paul following the presentations at Aylesbury at the weekend.
