When multi-Paralympic and World Championship medal winner Fran Williamson dropped in at Hadleigh High School, students soon realised they were in for an inspiring day.
The former swimmer, who was born with cerebral palsy, visited the school on Thursday to talk about the highs and lows of her sporting career.
Fifteen pupils from Year 8 and 9 got the chance to work with Mrs Williamson and discuss the steps to success which enabled her to win 13 World Championship and six Paralympic medals.
PE teacher Sarah Clarke said it had been a memorable day.
“Fran’s story of success was very inspiring for the pupils and it was great to have her here,” she said.
