A PAIR of former theatre bosses are setting up their own company and their first mission is to raise money for charity.
Robert Benton and Ian Ambrose both worked at The Quay Theatre in Sudbury before being made redundant earlier in the year.
However, the duo have now reunited to form AB Entertainments – an entertainment booking agency – and hope to raise £3,000 for the Sudbury Community Forum from a series of shows at the Delphi Club in Newton Road.
The forum is made up of around 40 charities from across the area – many of which have been affected by cuts in funding.
A John Denver tribute night featuring local band Cardy and Coke will be among the first shows run by the company on July 29.
