Outdoor classroom opened in memory of Mrs Farrow
The opening of an outdoor classroom at Woodhall Primary School in Sudbury, in memory of a former headteacher, was described as a “happy day” and a celebration of a year’s work.
The classroom was the brainchild of Lesley Farrow who died in July after falling from her horse.
Acting headteacher Helen Arbon said: “Mrs Farrow strongly believed that children need to learn outdoors.”
Mrs Farrow’s husband, mother and sister-in-law as well as Sudbury mayor Jack Owen attended the opening.
