SCREAMS of terror and delight will fill the air as St Nicholas Hospice Care holds its Valentine’s Fling bungee jump in Great Cornard on Sunday.
The event at Highbury Barn will see fundraisers throw themselves from a 160ft crane in return for sponsorship, with funds raised going to the charity.
Teams and individuals from across the region, including students from West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds, will be taking part and there are still a few places up for grabs for anyone brave enough to get involved.
Each jumper has been allocated a time slot, but there will be plenty for spectators to see and do, with two bands and a DJ providing music on the day. Refreshments will also be available.
Registration costs £20 per person and jumpers must raise an additional £80 in sponsorship. All those who raise £125 or more will receive a commemorative T-shirt, with the top fundraiser winning a special prize.
