OAP dies at Sudbury supermarket

A MAN died after suffering a heart attack at a town centre supermarket.

The man, who was in his 80’s, began feeling unwell while shopping at Iceland in North Street, Sudbury, on Wednesday.

Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance service were called to try and treat the man for a cardiac arrest at around 10.15am, but were unable to save him.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 11.27am.
