Great Cornard village fete was enjoyed by fewer visitors than in previous years but still had something for everyone, according to an organiser.
Now in its third year, the annual event was held at the Stevenson Centre on Saturday and arranged by the Great Cornard Community Association.
Chairman Tom Keane said: “The numbers were a little down on last year but it went very well and everybody enjoyed themselves.”
He said entertainment ranging from karate and majorette displays to dancing and live music was well-received and a small profit of around £200 was made.
Next year’s event will be on July 26. To help, contact Mr Keane on 01787 312560.
