A charity in Sudbury brought festive cheer to the town during its Christmas fair at the weekend.

The Bridge Project, a social enterprise based in Gainsborough Street, showcased a range of novelty crafts at Saturday’s event.

Visitors perused a range of stalls selling ornaments, pottery and a selection of handmade Christmas crafts created by members during ceramic workshops.

“It was a successful event,” said service manager Becky Nicholson. “We were very grateful to have volunteers help out.

“It gave parents and carers a chance to see what they do here.”

The charity provided a range of healthy dishes at its café, with festive treats including home-made mince pies.

Visitors were invited to take part in a raffle and a tombola.
