A THRIVING farmers’ market will welcome three new stalls this weekend.
Lavenham Farmers’ Market, which has been transformed from a dying market to a buzzing monthly event in the space of three years, will take place from 10am to 1.30pm on Sunday at Lavenham Village Hall.
Among the new arrivals to the market, which regularly attracts over 800 people, will be the winners of the BBC television show A Farmers’ Life For Me, Jayne and Ray Brabban, selling mutton sausages.
Market organiser, Justine Paul, said: “It is so encouraging to see that the local community and visitors alike are enjoying what Lavenham Farmers’ Market has to offer.
“People really do care about where their food comes from and the market is continuing to go from strength to strength.”
