MP visit for award winning care home
South Suffolk MP James Cartlidge visited a care home in Cavendish to congratulate staff after a recent award.
Mr Cartlidge called in at Anchor’s Devonshire House in the High Street last Friday as part of national Care Home Open Day, seeing for himself why the home was rated as ‘one of the top most recommended homes in the East of England’ by independent care website carehome.co.uk.
The home celebrated the day with a quintessentially English tea party with a 50s twist.
All the staff dressed up in 50s attire and entertainment was provided by the Knightingales, a vintage-style singing trio.
