Man in court charged with Great Cornard burglaries

A 29-year-old man is due to appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court today charged with two counts of burglary in Great Cornard.

Lee Nicholls, of Hawke Road Ipswich, was arrested on Sunday, February 26, and brought into custody where he was interviewed by detectives.

He was subsequently charged with the burglary of an outbuilding, where power tools were stolen, and the burglary of a home where cash, power tools and car keys were stolen.

The incidents took place in the vicinity of Joes Road between Wednesday 7 and Thursday, December 8, last year.

He has been detained in custody to appear before magistrates today.
