Man charged with string of offences including Lamarsh burglary

A man has been charged with a string of offences including burglary and attempted robbery east London, Hertfordshire and Essex including Lamarsh. Jack O’Brien, 22, unemployed, of Navarre Gardens, Romford, was arrested on Saturday and charged with ten counts of burglary including in Twinstead Road, Lamarsh on September 5.

He was also charged with attempted aggravated burglary, three counts of attempted burglary, handling stolen goods, driving without due care and attention, driving other than in accordance with a licence, failing to stop for police and driving without insurance.

He appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court this morning and has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on December 12.
