Man charged with string of burglaries and thefts in West Suffolk
A 33-year-old man will appear before magistrates this morning charged with seven offences including burglaries and thefts in West Suffolk
Marc Nicholls, of Hawke Road in Ipswich, was arrested yesterday morning, Tuesday March 29, in connection with a string of incidents.
He was taken into custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where he was interviewed and was later charged with seven offences.
Nicholls has been charged with:
An attempted burglary at club premises in Stoke Road in Clare on February 25
A business burglary at Stoke Road in Clare on February 25, where a generator was stolen
A business burglary at Well Close in Clare overnight February 24-25 where a quantity of cash was stolen
A burglary at business premises in Elmswell on February 22 where cash, an iPod and other items to the value of over £600 were stolen
A burglary at childrens nursery in Elmswell between February 19 and 22 where laptop computers, an iPad and cash, totalling almost £1,500 were taken
The theft of a Citroen Berlingo van in Bury St Edmunds between February 10 and 11.
The theft of an outboard motor, worth over £1,700 from a boat moored at Woodbridge
Nicholls was detained in custody overnight ahead of the court hearing this morning, Wednesday March 30.
