Man arrested on suspicion of starting Hadleigh tanker fire

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fuel tanker fire that caused more than £500,000 of damage.

Three tankers parked in UKay Fuels depot on Lady Lane Industrial Estate, Hadleigh, were set alight on November 16. It is believed the fire was started deliberately.

A man from Hadleigh was arrested on suspicion of arson in relation to the incident on Saturday.

He was taken to the Police Investigation Centre in Bury St Edmunds for questioning and has now been released on bail pending further inquiries.
