SUDBURY will be filled with with music on Saturday when the town holds its third annual Record Store Day. The event is held internationally to celebrate independent record stores.
A line-up of different groups will play outside on the steps of St Peters, on Market Hill, between 11am and 4pm. If the weather is bad, it will be inside the church.
One of the organisers Jane Hatton said: “There will be a wide range of music to suit every taste including music from the 1930s to modern ballads, classical to electric guitar, soloists and groups.
“With Compact Music in North Street, Sudbury is lucky to have one of the few independent record stores left in the country, and the only one left in Suffolk.
“This will be the third year we have done this event, and it has been very successful.”
