Organisers of the annual Leestock Festival have announced a number of warm up events this weekend.

Leestock is held each year in memory of Lee Dunford who died in 2006, and to raise money for the Willow Foundation which gives special days out to seriously ill adults.

This year it will be headlined by Scouting for Girls and on Saturday there will be live music in the McDonald’s car park in Sudbury, with tickets to the festival sold throughout the day.

Tickets will also be on sale from 10am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday at Tesco in Sudbury, when organisers will also be selling cakes, sweets and balloons and offering face painting.

Lee’s mother Rosie has decided to get her foot tattooed to raise extra funds.

She is being sponsored to have ‘Shine on you crazy diamond’ tattooed, Lee’s favourite Pink Floyd song.

In eight years the festival and other fundraising activities have raised £50,000. The festival takes place on May 23-24. Tickets are available from £12.
